In wasting some precious downtime on Pinterest tonight, I noticed this t-shirt and let my judgement get the best of me by pinpointing in my head who I'd like to buy this for as
To recap, May started out nice and easy. Just like any other. But just as easy as it began so it picked up into a whirlwind of work, airports and small toiletries.
In between flights and a few all nighters, I set a theme in kicking off my New York summer by spending as much time outdoors as possible. It's about to start scorching in these parts so you need to enjoy it while you can...
My favorite-film-dream come true: a visit to Riverside Park.
We jaunted over from the UES, through Central Park westward to find this exact location. I thought I'd be able to spot it on my own, but the park is big! So I Googled it. Riverside is definitely a good entertainment option if you ever get tired of CP. No Meg or Tom (or Brinkley) in sight, and it was still a little dewey from the AM fog, but I shamelessly made my roommate snap a pic for me to frame later on.
The same west-side stroll garnered brunch on Amsterdam Ave and a walk by the John Lennon memorial which I had never seen. A lot of hippies were hanging out around there, singing songs and preaching to the people not surprisingly, I guess.

A trip to Buvette on a random Friday afternoon at 3 PM. It may not have been the best idea to take a conference call on their small back porch garden, but the wine was crisp and it was nice to be outside. I plan to go back for food very soon.
Brunch at Public before taking off on the latest apartment hunt. I love the layout of this restaurant. No dice on the apartment but the poached eggs were delicious.
Cruising back from LGA on the way to Hudson/Houston.
A CHICK-FIL-A in the Minneapolis-St.Paul airport. If you wish hard enough, dreams do come true. Although, it appears that the midwest doesn't support the chicken-mini product line for breakfast. Big mistake, but I'll take what I can get.
Back in the city and on the rooftop at Eataly w/ Josh. Beer and eye level views of the Flatiron - a great spot for summer.
